This amazing cabin is in a beautiful location on the river. We saw deer and other wildlife every day. The hosts were amazing, even going out of their way to accommodate our needs and requests. The location is far enough out of the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to restaurants and other establishments. We highly recommend it!
Great little place to getaway! My husband and I brought 5 kids with us, ages 8yrs 11yrs 13yrs 15yrs and 20yrs. There was something for everyone to do at the nearby state parks. Audra State park and Tygart Adventures were our favorites! Paula had everything we needed available in the cabin for our stay- including extra linen, blankets, and pillows. There is wifi available (which you definitely need!) but it’s only good for basic calls or texts. We were not able to stream anything- but honestly we didn’t need it. We played games that Paula had available and enjoyed family time.
We just finished our stay at The Red Bull Inn. Everything was as described. Very clean and has everything you need. Area is peaceful. Gentleman across the river was very friendly to speak with. Loved the smores basket. Played the dollar game. Found and hid for next guests. Hopefully our clues were great! I really had 2 main issues. One, there is no curtains or blinds except for the bathroom and two bedrooms. I just prefer a little more privacy. Two, for users of cpap machines. There is nowhere to sit your machine ( I brought over a dining chair ). There is a receptacle behind the bed and one in the hall. Overall, if you are looking for quiet and a little seclusion, its a great place to stay!
Great location about 20 minutes outside of Elkins. Having visited both towns Buckhannon is the place to be! Great house with just enough private space. There was also a nice sized common area with a table for meals (or a puzzle) plenty of outdoor space and seating. The fire pit was our favorite part. Wood was included. I would bring a couple of fire starter logs to make the process a little easier on you. Shops are pretty close by so it was easy to pop out for food if we missed anything. Would definitely recommend this location to someone looking to slow down and enjoy the outdoors with the comforts of home.
Everything was nice. Very nice appliances. Bed in room next to bath was super comfortable!! House was clean. They have Terminex, which I very much appreciated! Didn’t see one bug inside. Lots of extra blankets and sheets and pillows. Smart tv was nice so we could watch Netflix on the rainy days and at night. Property was roomy and quiet! Nice relaxing trip! Thank you!
This place was the perfect little getaway! While it did rain every day, the cabin was cozy enough to keep us comfortable and we still managed to have a fire every night! We loved the s’mores kit that was available, it’s little things like that that you appreciate. Mark and Paula were quick with their communication as well! We loved the area and loved being able to float on the river when we were able to!
